What is BI Internship for MSc in Finance?
Finance students have the possibility to choose BI Internship as an
elective course. Internships in general offer a period of practical
experience in an industry relating to your study programme. This
experience is valuable as a means of allowing you to experience how your
studies are applied in the "real world". In addition to work experience you also get access to a professional network within your industry.
BI Internship is not just a "regular" internship. It is special since it is a credit-bearing course during your studies.
Although the course will be registered as an autumn semester course,
you work 8 weeks full-time in May (week 19) and June (week 26) at one of BI's 3 partner
companies. BI Internship is unpaid since it is a credit-bearing course.
In order to pass the course you have to hold a presentation during the
autumn semester with guidance from your academic supervisor.
Why choose a BI Internship?
Internship provides a great opportunity for you as a student to gain
experience in a particular field or industry. Having a BI Internship
helps you determine if you have an interest in a particular career;
create a network of contacts, and gain credits. This internship course
will give you 6 ECTS-credits.
