Internship for MSc in Business

Internship for MSc in Business

BI Norwegian Business School is introducing an opportunity for students in the MSc in Business to choose an internship period carried out at a partner company. Internships will be offered to a selected number of students during the 3rd semester of the programme. The internship is organized as a minor giving 24 credits in total. The internship will give 12 ECTS credits, while two mandatory courses make up the remaining 12 credits.

To be considered for a place, students must be enrolled in the MSc in Business. The Internship is carried out in the 3rd semester - starts around August 20th and lasts 8 weeks. The second part of the semester is spent at BI taking two courses.

GRA 2416 Project Management is compulsory for all students taking the internship and in addition students must select one of the following 3 courses: GRA 6723 SCRM in Project-based Industries; GRA 6834 Business Development & Innovation or GRA 6535 Derivatives. A completed and approved internship together with the two mandatory courses will give 24 ECTS credits. The internship is unpaid.

Please be aware that courses can be revised or replaced, and that some courses might be offered every second study year only.

Who can apply?

  • Students with a grade B average and no pending subjects from the 1st semester in the MSc in Business programme.
  • Students studying the 3rd semester in Norway. This means that it is not available to students who have chosen to do a double degree or have chosen to go on exchange.
