The beginners' course takes you through basic grammar and vocabulary. The course will cover approximately the first half of the book På vei - tekstbok, accompanied by På vei - arbeidsbok (Ellingsen).

The intermediate course (only spring semester) is for students with basic knowledge of Norwegian. The course covers
approximately the second half of the book På vei - tekstbok, accompanied by På vei - arbeidsbok (Ellingsen).

Course Certificate

The course is concluded with a written and oral test. Course certificates will be distributed to all participants attending a minimum number of lectures and passing the final test.

The Norwegian language course is not part of BI's curriculum, and does not give any credits.

Work load
In order to follow the progress that is expected in class, students must be prepared to do homework and to study Norwegian outside of class. Regular attendance is also expected.
