The examination results will normally be available no later than 17 workdays from the date of the examination if special reasons do not justify that more time is necessary for the grading.

For major works such as Master thesis the time limit is 30 workdays.

The following days do not count as workdays: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the days between Christmas and New Year's Eve and the entire Easter week.

Posting of examination results

Please look into Regulations relating to Admissions, Studies and Examinations at BI Norwegian Business School, Section 5-11 Grading.

Normally, examination results are made known through the student web portal @BI (your personal page). The result of the examination is considered to have been made known when it is available on the student web portal @BI.

More detailed rules on how to inform examinees about the examination results may be adopted for the individual study programmes

Grading results delayed

Should the examination take place at a number of geographically diverse locations, BI Norwegian Business School takes certain reservations with regard to the time necessary to send examinations and examination results to the relevant parties.

Appeal against grades

Results after appeals against grades will be made made available on your personal page in @BI. The students will be informed via e-mail (the students' BI address) when the result is available. See Appeals against grades for further information.

Information about grades will not be made by telephone. This is regulated by the Personal Data Act , available in the student web portal (in Norwegian).
